VW Oval Beetle - March 1953 for sale

Rare 0pportunity to own one of the oldest Oval window beetles around.

This unfinished project. confirmed to have been produced on March the 10th or 11th 1953. is it one of the first Oval's produced and therefore one of the oldest in the world.

Chassis No: 10 459 723
The first Oval window had a chassis no: 10 454 951
I have included a picture of the letter form Bob Shaill of Old Timer Magazine confirming this date.
A new floor pan has been welded in. Unfortunately the original wings could not be saved.

Although pictured with Fuch's. I have got the correct front wheels.
The set of 4 original Fuch wheels are also available.  The front pair are 15 x 6j and the rear pair are 15 x 7j. Professionally restored. detailed and polished.
