had cars in all of the major U. S. airports in the 1980's to the early 90's. The Speedster Built on a shortened VW chassis was one of the best you could buy. The thick fiberglass body was of very good quality with an integral box steel frame making it quite strong and free from creaks. groans and rattles. This car features a 1600 cc all aluminum engine with dual Delorto carbs. 4 speed transmission. front disc brakes and chrome wheels with authentic Porsche hub caps. The quality of the body and related panels is very good. There doesn't appear to be any stress cracks and panel fit is smooth and even. The interior is quite spartan as is any Speedster. It has a locking VW steering column with a mid 70's 911 wheel. 150 mph speedo. tach and gauges are all mid 70's also and work quite well. This car runs and drives out with performance that is far better than expected! This car also comes with a soft top. side windows and tonneau cover. This car is a head turner wherever it goes and is great fun to drive.

The car is titled as a 1987.

We will also accept cashiers check (certified from US bank) or money order. cash (in person) personal check (once cleared) Pay Pal. visa and Master Card (there is a fee for this. please call first to determine the fee) I do need a $1000 deposit within 24 hours at the end of auction.

Final Payment due within 3 days after end of auction. Sometimes I'm willing to work with buyer on giving the buyer a few more days if they are trying to obtain financing as I know this can take a few days.

Transport-Shipping I am happy to be an active part of this process from start to finish but the buyer is ultimately responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle and any pre-purchase inspections need to be done BEFORE auction ending. If you wish to have it shipped using a service. I will gladly assist in loading and be present for the transport condition form or other reasonable help. Locating a transporter is the buyers responsibility but I can make recommendations and share the relationships I've built. Vehicle transport has become very reasonable.
