NOW LISTED PERSONALLY - BY ME. THE OWNER.

1967 'Sunroof' 911 an almost 3 year build. It's rare and desirable to some - less than 200 sunroofs produced in 67. but the car is far from stock and is a NON MATCHING COLOUR CHANGE CAR. originally Polo Red and now Golden Green. a 68 colour. the car is to my personal spec and makes no apology for its correctness or incorrectness - it is what it is.

This is a very usable 'Hotrod 911'. a streetable car that looks and goes the part! This car has the right attitude and goes like stink!

This now Golden Green car produced in Sept 66 is to a more desirable 901/05 spec - alloy dash. thinner carpet. less undercoating and no heavy Webasto heater - basically the best ie. lightest SWB 911 to hotrod. This car now has the added benefit of 7inch AR lightweight wheels. bucket seat and now a 2687cc screamer on 'S' cams and IDA's is palpable. the electric sunroof is just the icing on the cake especially for the purist who may wish to return it to stock.
The desire was to build a car that was narrow body SWB with throw backs to late 60's Porsche and privateer race cars. but with full body and interior trim. The interior is German square weave. lightweight early door panels - leather pulls etc. Lightweight German square weave mats not heavy rubber. New German headliner(NO SUN VISORS) and NEW German window rubber throughout.
Engine - Rebuilt 2. 7motor on a 2. 4 7R 73T case. running NOS Triple 40IDA Webers with gauze air filters. S cams. BURSCH racing headers and a Dansk sports muffler - the car sounds as a hotrod should. Ignition is Pertronix electronic ignition and Pertronix High Output Coil - neater. simpler and far lighter than the MSD we initially fitted.
Gearbox - Rebuilt 5speed 901(lightweight) box from a 1970'S'

Running Gear and Options - Bilstein suspension and a 76 930 turbo front sway bar. Cibie driving lights. GTS style driver's seat and stock newly covered passenger seat. New SIMPSON lap belts. 70's Momo Prototipo and American Racing Torque Thrusts (all a must for the desired look). Front brake calipers are aluminium 73 RS items rears are stock.
Green and black 'S' clocks/dials. and early more ornate bronze door frames. New Euro lenses front and rear and original US spec headlamps
Bodywork - The bare shell was rotisserie'd and the original factory spot welds of the floor were drilled - the floors were replaced from the rear seat buckets to the front nose section with a NOS factory 1 PIECE complete floor/front pan unit. The floors were then coated liberally as per factory with Wurth Schutz treatment. The floor is installed perfectly and is absolutely dent free.

I have engaged some of the best early 911 specialists to work on this car from body. to paint. to interior. to engine to detailing and 'I think' this car is close to 'my' perfect. Needless to say the car comes with numerous bills and receipts covering over 60K of work completed in my ownership since early 2011.

Respectfully. if you are very serious then contact me directly thru ebay 'contact seller'.

I will respond in minutes as I have the app on my phone and can send a pic etc momentarily.

IF YOU WANT THE CAR BEFORE THE AUCTION ENDS THEN SHOOT ME AN 'OFFER'. I have a number in mind. but please do your research on the restoration cost of a SWB 67 911. then the purchase cost of the sunroof car if you can find one.

The car has either new or restored/rebuilt parts. but is a user. the paint is new and deep and lustrous.
The car is set up for fast road and will drive anywhere reliably and swiftly.

Known faults-
Temp gauge is old. yet sender is new(doesn't register as should - needs an older sender)
No toolkit! Spare and jack only. br>
The car is sold as is where is. with no warranties expressed or implied. It is the responsibility of the bidder to inspect or have inspected the car before bidding. Payment must clear before the car leaves.

The car comes with CLEAR CA TITLE in my name. and in located in my garage in So Cal Nr San Diego

Hi!
Is the car still for sale, I saw it on Ebay not meeting the reservation price? I would export it to Europe if I buy it from you.

Thanks Peter
