WW2 GMC CCKW 353

"JIMMY"

Here we have my brothers "Jimmy" its a very tidy and well maintained truck that would be a very sensible buy for FRANCE 2014. the 70th anniversary of D-Day.

This truck has just be repainted in US light olive. It had a new clutch fitted last year and lots of money spent on it since then. The canvas is very good all around and it drives very well indeed.

The US Army were using these great trucks right up untill 1956. the mechanics of the JIMMY are very straight forward to work on and spare parts are available through a range of military vehicle dealers.

This truck has proved to be very reliable over the years. it has been over to France a number of times on the MVT tours. pictures are available to prove this.

My brother has bought a Jeep and so has decided to sell the truck to fund this new project. I have an Airborne Jimmy myself and will answer any questions honestly. so if you would like any further information then

please ring Nigel on 07976 298484.

Also please note that this is a "Cash Only Sale"

Good Luck and Happy Bidding.

Dear Nigel,
I'm interesting in you GMC CCKW. Please let me know, whether it is still available for sale. I would apprecciate to anwer follwing question:
1. the state of the car is original (6V etc ...)?
2. do you have historic vehicle plate to drive this car to Slovakia ?
3. Is there any mandatory official process in GB at the sale of this vehicle to Slovakia (inside of EU)?

Thank you for your reply in advance.
