Comments and questions to the seller:

Fraudulent e-bay listing 161662043612 :
Seller Stated in listing and in phone conversations.
• Paint is 27 years old and the shine is nice but shows its age and patina
Blatantly false – Car was freshly re-painted to covered up poorly done unprofessional bondo repairs.
• Original body panel car
Blatantly false – Car has patch panels cut in over factory sheet metal.

Problem areas:
• Rear window metal on both sides had bondo placed over rusted areas and bondo was squeezed out of rust holes into trunk area. I broke a few off and handed to seller.
• Car was originally a Vinyl top car. Not that that would be a problem but I could easily see the molding clip holes that were showing thru the new paint. If you pushed on any of the round cracks in the paint the bondo would pop out and you would have ¼ inch holes all along the molding area.
• Obvious metal patch panel on passenger rear quarter easily found when placing hand along bottom of rear quarter in trunk area.
• Bondo cracking on outside of drivers side rear quarter indicating over ¼ inch of bondo covering a 10 inch dent that could be felt on inside of trunk area.
• Various bondo repairs on both right and left rocker panels.
• Bondo in various areas on roof.
• Dents in various areas of body not disclosed.

If vehicle condition was as stated in the ad I would have completed sale. I drove round trip with a car trailer over 1500 miles. I had a cashiers check for the balance made out to Carl in my hand. I also had motel bills along the way. Fuel and Motel bills add up to $1000 plus the $500 deposit. At this time I am only requesting the full refund of my $500 deposit. I do realize that the ad stated Non-refundable deposit but I respectfully ask doesn’t e-bay state somewhere in their policy that the listing description has to be true and accurate?

Upon request I can show that this particular seller has flipped over 15 vehicles. If he states that he doesn’t know how to list vehicle conditions that would be another blatant falsehood. I will also contact West Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles about possible tax evasion if any of these vehicles where sold with open titles.
Lastly I would like clarification on why he was hiding proceeds of this sale by putting vehicle in his mothers name since she will be a defendant in any court action. In a phone conversation with me she indicted she didn’t know anything about it.
