1963 Austin Mini

The Mini is a small economy car made by the British Motor Corporation and its successors from 1959 until 2000. The original is considered a British icon of the 1960's. Its space-saving front-wheel drive layout – allowing 80 per cent of the area of the car's floor pan to be used for passengers and luggage – influenced a generation of car makers. The vehicle is in some ways considered the British equivalent of its German contemporary the Volkswagen Beetle. which enjoyed similar popularity in North America. In 1999 the Mini was voted the second most influential car of the 20 th century. behind the Ford Model T.

Motoe Xotica Classic Cars is pleased to offer the handsome 1963 Austin Mini you see pictured. This tiny. European coupe comes complete with a HUGE personality! We realize this is really a 1985 Series V Leyland Mini. however they were never imported into the US. This car is titled as a 1963 Austin Mini on a legal Missouri Non-USA Motor Vehicle Title. Previous to coming into the state of Missouri the car was titled in Texas where it was most likely imported sometime in the late 1980's. These late model Series V Minis aren't often seen in the states and would make a perfect. economic daily driver or an excellent addition to any European collection!

Finished in red. the paint is in good condition. showing only minor imperfections. such as small rock chips. typical of a car that is regularly driven. The Mini has small black flares that are in great shape that shows only minor imperfections. The chrome is in good shape and shines bright. Overall. this is a very good looking car!

Inside. you will be shocked at how surprisingly roomy the Mini is! The interior is finished in two tone brown vinyl with brown & gray cloth Houndstooth. The seats are in good condition. showing no signs of major wear. tears or staining. The door panels and dashboard are finished in brown vinyl and look great. showing no signs of cracking. The brown carpet is in good shape as well. The headliner is finished in gray and shows no sign of sagging. As mentioned before. this car has a tiny exterior appearance but inside. you can really stretch out and get comfy!

Under the hood. you'll find a 998 cc Inline 4 cylinder engine attached to a 4-speed manual transmission. Obviously with its small stature and small engine with manual transmission. it's an excellent economical vehicle. The Mini is equipped with front disc brakes. The car sits upon a set of 12” steel wheels with hubcaps wrapped in P 145/70 R 12 tires.

This is a very cool. rarely seen British coupe and would make an excellent daily driver. awesome first car or an amazing addition to any European collection. The mileage currently shows 59. 20 and the VIN is SAXXL 2 S . It is being sold on a clean and clear Missouri title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!
