1966 Pontiac Bonneville Wagon RARE 421 Tri-Power ONE OF ONE ONE OF A KIND for sale
Current customer rating:
This California car has been sitting in my garage for 30 Years. It was factory ordered by the original buyer who flew to Detroit to pick it up new. It was ordered with the 421 engine and factory Tri-Power. Has a 400 turbo trans and eight bolt aluminum wheels. The 4 bolt main engine still retains its original miles on it and has NEVER been bored. The factory steel crank has been turned 0. 10 down. I still have all the original carbs and pistons. as well as most of the rebuild kit for the engine. You can see the original factory heads with oversize valves for this setup. Car has the factory skirts. black interior and 421 2+2 trim package. The seats are original with no tears. and the floorpan/frame look as if the car had an "OFF FRAME" restoration. They are clean. smooth and rust free. What it needs is a complete restoration. This is a very rare car that retains all of its factory components. I have seen factory big block Impala's listed for over $150. 000. 00. I purchased the car from the man who bought it from the original owners in CA. He brought it to Ohio in the early 80's just to get the engine out of it. After much pleading. begging. and even threats!. I managed to spare the car from his demise. I have had it ever since. THIS IS NOT A BARN FIND. It has never been lost. I have sacrificed to preserve it. and when taken to Supernats. it drew more attention than any car around it. Car Craft did a feature on my wagon back in 2001. This is NOT a fake "clone" car like many out there. but is 100% pure and unmolested. The buyer needs to come to my home with an appropriate size trailer to manage the shipping.
