1966 VW Double Door Walk-thru Panel Bus
Sale price: $22,000.00 make an offer
Seller's notes: "The paint is in fair condition, it is wearing through in some spots, but still looks nice. The cab interior has good seats with no holes and little wear. The door, ceiling, and kick panels are all new. It may need the steering box rebuilt or replaced, there is a little play in it. The nose got backed into about a year ago, it appears that wasn’t the first time, it has some filler in it. The rest of the bus is straight. The rear floor has a couple small rust holes and the belly pan on the driver’s front side has some rust holes you can see in the pictures."

Current customer rating: (415 votes ) based onThe paint is in fair condition. it is wearing through in some spots. but still looks nice. and I love the velvet green!
The cab interior has good seats with no holes and little wear. The door. ceiling. and kick panels are all new. It has a stereo. cd. mp3 player but I didn't reinstall the speakers in the new door panels so the new owner can decide to cut them or not. I'll include the speakers I had for it.
The roof rack is included.
Bumpers are fiberglass.
The bus is lowered with a straight axel and adjustable front beam. The emergency brake was never hooked back up. I believe there is a kit to go with the straight axel but I never got around to ordering it.
It may need the steering box rebuilt or replaced. there is a little play in it.
The transmission is fairly new and shifts perfectly. The engine leaks some oil but it runs strong. it is a 1600 dual port. The tires are nearly new. bought them last season but I haven't put many miles on since.
The nose got backed into about a year ago. it appears that wasn't the first time. it has some filler in it. The rest of the bus is straight. The rear floor has a couple small rust holes and the belly pan on the driver's front side has some rust holes you can see in the pictures.
