1985 TOYOTA 4x4 DIESEL TRUCK, EXTRA CAB, PWR STEERING, ORIGINAL, LOOOOK

Here you go. TOTAL BUMMER. my beautiful wife tells me that 10 cars and 4 motor cycles is more than enough for any man! I can't argue with her so in order to get my new project I am selling 2. I know I will never find a DIESEL in this great a shape again but such is life.
Body is in unbelievable shape. all most NO RUST and this is from a California guy that has seen plenty of California cars that have lots of CA style rust.
This is an S vin truck. for those that don't know. that is a SR 5 as you can see from the stock SR 5 (option) bucket seats. It also came with a 4 cyl. gas engine.

THIS TRUCK IS SMOG EXEMPT in California.

That means NO checks. NO $$$$. Due to a special exemption law this truck will never need to be inspected.

Title states D for. Diesel. not G for gas. Registration says D for diesel. not G for gas.

The engine is gets great Milage but it will blow black smoke if I step on it on the freeway. I was told that it may have been turbo charged.

It eats a little oil so maybe it's just tired? It has 450 psi on the number 1 cyl. I checked the timing. it looks right? I just had all 4 injectors rebuilt and pop tested.

There is a fuel bypass on top of the fuel pump that is bypassing fuel. I am told that there is a very small Oring that needs to be replaced at the top of pump.
It gets around 500+ miles to a tank
Interior is all stock. dash pad has NO CRACKS.

Original carpet and head liner.
The speedo says 270. 00 but I changed it. because of broken gas gage. actual is 178. 00. maybe you can change I did not care.
Truck operates as it should with the acceptation of slow acceleration. turbo would be perfect. shifts great. all lights work.
Radio is newer with i Pod plug. and CD. speakers are metal box Tri-axial
All jack. lug wrench. tool bag. jack. spare tire. etc are there and in great shape
All lights. T sigs. clock. hi/low beams. interior lights. radio. wench. etc all work.

5 speeds. clutch and syncro's all work great

Power Brakes are out of this world strong

The rear bumper has a purpose. it's a gas tank.

I think there is gas in it as well.

I did not use but the previous owner used as spare for Gen. while camping.

Paint and body- There are bumps. dings . and scratches all over the truck. not bad for an almost 30 yr. old paint job.

The only big (I call them big) dents are two. one on the drivers rocker panel. there is a pic. It's about the size of a small hand and. another on the roof about the same size. The one on the roof could be oil canned out with little effort by pushing out on it.

I could almost do it without removing a corner of the headliner but if you removed you could do it easily.

I Found a pickup sensor for the RPM and will include with sale but you will have to rig.

Oil sensor is already on engine.
Tires are in good condition. wheels are stock chrome option wheels with the exception of Rt. front. It's a chrome oddball however if you wanted to stay stock you could chrome the spare and use the Rt. front as new spare.
4 Wheel drive works great with Warn lockers.
The tail gate (has a small amount of rust (at the bottom lip) and bed side panels are back on the truck.
ORIGINAL PAINT. for the most part.

I painted the bottom after knocking some dents out (NO BONDO added).

Stock rear sliding window. it's missing the latch cover or locking plate but has a wired lock.

All glass is Toyo stamped. I can't remember everything so just ask and I will respond.
