You are bidding on a 1972 Opel GT!!!
This is the third time that I am selling this car.  Please. if you are not serious about the car. do not bid.
This is a 99. 9% rust free Arizona car.  This is a great restoration project.
Here are some specifics.
BODY;This body is 99. 9% rust free.  There is a hole the size of a quarter on the drivers side kick panel.  Otherwise there is only surface rust.  The body is in very nice shape.
PAINT;Obviously the paint is history. but I don't think it was ever resprayed. so a repaint should be pretty easy.
GLASS;All glass is good except for the windshield.  It does have a small cracked area. but most people don't see it because of its location.
INTERIOR;The interior is stock and completely dry rotted.  It needs to be restored.
ENGINE;The engine ran when I first picked it up.  The water pump is frozen and the carb needed to be rebuilt.  I think that it is the original engine.
TRANSMISSION;The transmission is a manual transmission and I would imagine in fine shape.  They don't usually go bad.  No known problems.
TIRES;Hold air. but that is the extent of that.
TITLE;The title is free and clear.  It is an open Arizona title ready to transfer to the new owner.
PAYMENT;Payment is due within 5 days of end of auction.
STORAGE;You can store the car for up to 30 days free of charge. if the car has been paid for in full.
QUESTIONS;Please feel free to ask any questions.  Call Pete at 602-625-1579

It looks like this car might have had the DFealer nstalled A/C originally. Do you see the Condensor (in front of the radiator) or the Compressor mounting brackets (next to the ignition coil)?

Sorry, but I would not call that 90% rust free.
