A pair of Lancia Appia Vignale Convertibles for sale as a package. The cars are very complete with ample parts to make one. with about 75% left over for a second one. Use the second one as a parts car or source a spare drivetrain (the package comes with one radiator. one disassembled engine and one transmission) and windshield and restore two. The 1959 Vignale is serial number 812. 01-2477 and does not have a title. The 1961 Vignale is serial number 812. 01-3175 and does have a title. Both cars came from southern states and are rusty. The 1959 has plywood floors and is missing the rockers and lower rear body work. The rear floors and trunk are intact. The doors still shut well with reasonable gaps. The 1961 had rust and was poorly repaired. The floors and sills were cobbled together and there is a lot of bondo in the lower panels. It looks good from about 20' away. My idea was to rebuild the engine. put it in the '61. drive it and in the meantime repair the body on the '59 and do a proper restoration. Due to time and space constraints that's not going to happen any time soon so the cars are now for sale. I would encourage inspection prior to bidding if you are local. Cars are available most days during business hours in Goleta. Happy to help with loading the cars but all costs and arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer. To preempt some questions: 1) No. I will not sell parts separately 2) The engine block is stamped with number MOT 814. 00 *2471* This is the engine from the 1959 chassis. 3) There is only one set of bumpers with the two cars. 4) I have and will include a 3rd series Uso & Manutenzione booklet in used but intact condition. a plastic ring-bound copy of an Appia Repair Shop Manual dated January 1962 (this may be a photocopy?). and an original third series parts catalog that has been re-bound. These come in a cloth Lancia folio. 5) I do have some paperwork on the '59 chassis with a complete ownership chain going back probably twenty years. The title was turned in to the DMV by a previous owner to avoid having to pay annual fees on the car. RM Auctions has a sister car to these for sale at the Paris Retromobile Auction in nice restored condition (Lot 4) with an estimated value of Euro 50. 00 - Euro 60. 00. which is $67. 00 to $81. 00 USD.

I think I have the title for the 59. I found it a couple years ago after I sold it in 2010 or 2011.
