1964 LHD VOLKSWAGEN KARMANN GHIA 2+2 COUPE

The Volkswagen Karmann Ghia is a sports car marketed in both 2+2 coupe (1955–1974) and convertible (1957–1974) body styles by Volkswagen. The Karmann Ghia combined the chassis and mechanicals of the Type 1 (Beetle) with styling by luigi segre of the Italian carrozzeria Ghia and hand-built bodywork by the German coach-builder Karmann.

This lovingly cared for example has been freshly imported from Poland by the nephew of the previous owner after he had had passed away. The vehicle. having been owed by the previous keeper since  March 2003 had kept a fully documented log of each and every trip. fuel stop and mechanical repair that was ever done to the vehicle while he had it.

Prior to him owning the vehicle it is apparent that a full restoration was conducted to an extremely high standard including an engine upgrade from a 1200cc to a 1600cc. There is no sign of any water ingress or corrosion anywhere. No end float on the engine. nbsp;5 brand new tyres fitted. period radio and was serviced just 500 kilometres ago. The interior is black throughout with markless vinyl seats. complimented with a colour coded dashboard. period white steering wheel and switches. The carpets are like new along with the headliner.

This vehicle is currently unregistered in the UK but can easily be done upon purchase or if you are looking to purchase from overseas we would be happy to organise the vehicle to be exported.
