Selling a very nice 1969 Porsche 912. repainted in its original color of tangerine (code 6809 I believe). with a 5 speed transmission. The car runs and drives well. no smoke on startup. very minor leaking that I noticed on the garage floor only after the car had been sitting for a long time. The compression numbers are 145. 150. 150. 145. and the leak down is all 4-5%. done in October. The steering and suspension are very tight. Not a show quality paint job but it's very presentable. and could use minor touch ups only. There are no dents and the body is very straight with good gaps and no body rust. it's missing the front fog lamps though.  I purchased the car from a well known classic Porsche dealer here who did extensive service work on it. there are new tires all around including the spare. real 15" Fuchs wheels. and a new Interstate battery.  
Interior has new headliner. new carpets. recovered dash. overall in very nice shape except front seat upholstery is an incorrect pattern. Heater is connected and the lever by the parking brake works. the dash defroster controls aren't hooked up though and neither is a radio. I was going to put delete plates over the holes if I kept the car. Clock doesn't work. the temp gauge light is on all the time and it is always at max. the connection or gauge will need to be repaired. besides that the other gauges work and light up. high and low beams. front+rear turn signals. the wipers. and the interior lights all work. As far as I know there are no signs of rust at all. even by the battery. Very solid car that needs an owner with more time than me to enjoy it and if they want to take it to the next level it doesn't need much. Clear California title and registration until November 2014. The black license plates are not included. if the buyer wants them we can make arrangements. Inspections are encouraged during the bidding period. I've described the car to the best of my knowledge and I'm neither a Porsche or 912 expert. and all sales are final. Hi,

Are the doors the same color & tone as the rest of the body? In the pics esp. the right hand door looks lighter I think.

Where can this car be seen and test-driven?

Do the dash defroster controls come with the car and will work ok?
