1969 Mustang GT Coupe Big block bench seat for sale
Current customer rating:
1969 Ford Mustang GT Hard top coupe. big block 390 4 V. C 6 automotic. 9" 3. 00 open diff. . Deluxe interior- With a RARE (only 504 Deluxe bench seat coupes made in 69) Comfort weave front BENCH SEAT!! power steering. power DISC brakes. A/C. vinyl top. Silver Jade paint. I have a Marti Report that is included.
This coupe was ordered from a dealer in Daytona Beach. FL. I bought this 69 because first. it's a rare car. Second. all of the frames are solid and had zero rust on them. The cowl was a different story. We rebuilt it using a donor car. that was 6 months before they released the new 69 cowl sections. The floors were replaced because of the cowl being rusted and that took the floor out too. The rockers were solid as were the trunk floors. Has new chrome bumpers. grille pieces. original 69 GT gas cap and vinyl top moldings (both impossible to find). Installed a new vinyl top. It has been painted for about 7 years but looks like new. Original Silver Jade color.
The interior was completely redone. All new head liner. upholstery. carpet. door panels & was lined with dynamat under the carpet and rear seat up to the rear deck panel. I installed 70 Mustang door glass & 1/4 windows. They operate easier & have more adjustment. Has all new window/door seals & all weatherstripping.
The 390 4 v engine was rebuilt and a small Comp Cams cam installed & an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake along with a Holley 750 vac sec. carb. The heads were rebuilt and installed adjustable 428 rocker arms on them. All new water pump. hoses. radiator. battery. & export brace. The original C 6 trans was rebuilt too. Has hooker headers w/ 2. 5" exhaust back to tailpipes that exit behind the rear tires. Speaking of which. the front wheels are FORD 15 x 5" & rear are custom 15 x 8 with 5. 5" backspacing with 1969 Mustang hub caps. Growing up. everyone had the typical GT wheels on everything which is why I went this route. The coupe looks mean with the caps on. BFG's on all four corners. 215 70 r 15 front and rears are 275 60 r 15. Stock gears 3. 00 are still in the 9".
The A/C is not installed. I have alot of pieces & plenum that will go with the car.
The hood tach doesn't work. I have the am radio. Scoop needs turn sig. lights in the rear(I have originals(pitted) and the wiring) & grille. I also have the RARE bench seat belts. The car has less than 1000 miles on completion of restoration.

Everything is date code correct. The transmission has the vin stamped on top by the tail housing. Differential & drive shaft are both original. The car did not have exhaust manifolds on it when I bought it. just the headers. Also have the original split exhaust tips. I have the original C 9 4 bbl intake(cracked and someone tried to weld it) and the C 9 water pump. Any other questions. call . Thanks. Mike.
