1967 Series V Sunbeam Alpine. Original Polar White paint. No Rust Survivor

Sale price: $11,500.00 make an offer

Seller's notes: "This is a nice surviving example of a 1967 Series 5 Sunbeam Alpine. The car has original paint and original interior. The factory tool kit and jack come with this car. It has the spinner wheels, which includes the spare, that have been freshened up with a powder coat by the previous owner. The car has a radio with the factory speaker. The engine is a matching number but someone has replaced the heater hoses with non factory blue heater hoses. The heater control valve is not hooked up so it always blows warm air when the fan is turned on. All the electricals work except the horns won't blow. The horns get good voltage but can't get them to work. The top is usable. I put the top on myself and it was my first time doing so on any car. The top looks good but not upholstery shop type work. The top was a new old stock item I found so it has a perfect clear back window. There are a couple of small dings on the passenger side of the car. The radiator was recored last year…"

This is a nice surviving example of a 1967 Series 5 Sunbeam Alpine. The car has original paint and original interior. The factory tool kit and jack come with this car. It has the spinner wheels. which includes the spare. that have been freshened up with a powder coat by the previous owner. The interior is original. The seats do not have any tears. The dash is cracked in a couple of places which shows the pad underneath but a very serviceable dash. There is a fifty cent piece sized tear in the back upholstery but again very serviceable. All the chrome and rubber gaskets are original. I cleaned up some of the chrome interior pieces and they look fine. The bumpers are very nice. The rubber around the windshield is very cracked The knobs are all original except for the choke knob. All the gauges work.  The top is usable. I put the top on myself and it was my first time doing so on any car. The top looks good but not upholstery shop type work. The top was a new old stock item I found so it has a perfect clear back window. There are a couple of dings on the passenger side of the car. The radiator was recored last year…This is an original paint car not perfect but nice…code 108 Polar white…hard to find these survivor Sunbeams…a lot have been modified. The paint has some chips from typical driving behind the wheels on the quarter panels and rocker panels. There are other small chips. There is no deep rust on this car. Some surfacing where the paint has been chipped. The originals will be valuable. The shifter is tight. The steering is also tight. Car will need shocks replaced at some point. Has original carbs. which were rebuilt by previous owner or so I was told. The car has new tires…I have a roll bar that comes with the car…it was never mounted. the previous owner was going to make it a tiger clone. Car has california black plates. Remember this car is almost 50 years old…so don't bid if you do not know what type of car you are buying into. The value in this car is its originality…original paint. etc. I was looking for something I could modify a little but after I got this I realized it would be a shame to modify this car…keep it the way it is while others keep modifying and the value will only go up. I can't possibly think of everything good or bad with this car…so ask me questions. All I know is I can start it up and drive it around town with no problems. The car is sold as is where is…buyer is responsible for shipping or pickup.
