You are bidding on a 1985 M931A1.  Those of you familiar with the second generation M-Series 5 Ton trucks you will notice this is listed as M931A1 but doesn't look like the M-Series 5 Ton 6-wheel drive Tractor Truck.  That is because this awesome truck was converted from a Tractor Truck to a versatile Cargo Truck.  The fifth wheel assembly with the ramps were removed. along with the spare tire carrier and toolboxes and a brand new 14' Drop-Side Bed was installed.  In addition. the 60% worn Super Single Tires were removed and replaced with brand new Goodyear G-177 tires. along with a brand new spare tire. In addition. four new high capacity Interstate Batteries were installed along with a rebuilt Protective Control Box!!!  A used cab top was installed which is about the only "used" on this truck!!!! 
The value in this truck is that the Military did a complete rebuild in 03/11 at the RRAD Depot (top notch re builders) as noted on the Data Plate. but it can be registered as a 1985 with no CDL license required. The frame. nbsp;chassis. cab. cab mounts. engine. transmission. seats. etc. . etc. . etc. . and just about every nut and bolt on the truck was replaced during the rebuild.
This great monster truck comes with the bullet-proof M-Series 5 ton drive-train which is the indestructible Cummins NHC-250 Diesel Engine along with an Allison 5-Speed Automatic Transmission.  The truck was also upgraded with Air-ABS brakes by the Military.  It has an Air-Shift front-wheel drive system and air powered windshield wipers.  Just to give you an ideal as to how reliable these trucks are. as you can from the pictures. it is covered in snow.  It had not been started in three months and within 15 seconds. it started right up without any smoke or hesitation!!!!!!!!!!!!

This truck doesn't come with a NH Title as one is not required if the vehicle is 15 years or older.  We insure and register these trucks as Antiques.  We are exploring if a title can be obtained as an antique vehicle.  It will be conveyed with a bill of sale and current NH motor vehicle registration which should suffice in most States.  As an example. Antique Insurance with a value of $7. 00. 00 would cost about $300. 00 per year with full coverage!!!

I am selling this truck for a friend. as we bought 2 of these trucks in 2013.  The truck is being as is. as shown with no implied or expressed warranties or guarantees.  I will say that my M931 (not this one) was driven back to NH from Delaware.  I would not hesitated to drive this truck anywhere or any distance!

Update:I have received a couple of questions. There are two upgrades (one for sure) that we maybe able to do to this awesome truck. 1. We can install an ZeroStart 1500 watt block heater for $100. 00.  With this option. this truck will start within a few seconds at 10 degrees or below. after being plugged in for 3-5 hours without the need of factory ether assist!2. We may have access to Goodyear or Michelin 14x20 Super singles and "might" be able to upgrade the tires at a cost $2000. 00Thanks for the questions and interest!!
