S Type Jaguar 3. 8 in opalescent Maroon Absolutely fantastic drive. sporty and fun. sounds lovely and turns heads.
Refurbished approx. 13/14 years ago. The engine was fully rebuilt and we have pictures to prove this. The mileage on the speedo (6850) is the mileage accrued since this time. It has just had a full bare metal re-spray. fully under sealed underneath. just had the rear inboard discs done at the back. new battery. new dynamo. new carpets throughout. 2 front seats just reupholstered. it will come with the remaining leather to do the rear seats. new doors seals - rubber and trims. rear parcel shelf has been re-leathered. boot has been re-carpeted. 4 brand new whitewall tyres. brand new chrome Jaguar spinners plus we still have the originals. recently fully serviced by Fenn Motorworks. all carbs have been balanced. cooling system flushed through.
Comes with loads of history. photographs and paperwork.
This car is not concours and it still needs a bit of work to bring it up to scratch: The rear seats have been reconollised recently but now the front seats have been re-upholstered they show up There is a bit of chrome peeling on the bumper 2 interior lights need replacing cigarette lighter has come apart Rear right hand fuel pump doesn't work but we can look into sorting that out Front drivers door card pocket is a bit loose The wood is generally good all bar the bit above the radio which could do with being re-veneered.
Genuine reason for sale - we bought it as a wedding car (sarah-annecars. com) but it hasn't had enough interest to warrant keeping it and we need to streamline.
Delivery can be arranged at extra cost.
