1949 Land Rover Series 1. 80. lights behind the grill. Chassis no. R 8664513. built on 11 th April 1949 and dispatched on the 27 th April 1949. very rare and very collectable (64 years old!). 1600 engine. the previous owner owned it for 35 years.
Very good body work with no scratches. painted in bronze green a by product of WW 11. The chassis and floor pans are all in fantastic shape. I have fitted a new hood and sticks I have also had the breaks professionally serviced and the oil drained and replaced.
A very reluctant sale due to my Fathers ill health.
I have owned four Land Rovers before and considering its age it drives very well. the gear box good and everything works. it is slow and bumpy as with all these old Land Rovers. Original number plates. the interior is very clean and tidy.
