Excellent Austin (1935) YORK for sale. This is a great opportunity to own one of these amazing cars at a realistic price. It has been part of our wedding fleet for some time now and we are selling due to retirement. The car itself is Ivory and Black with newly upholstered interior in cream. Loads of room inside for the bride and generally car is in good condition. One of the best things about this vehicle is that we have replaced the engine with a Ford Crossflow and gearbox so you won't have problems any longer with trying to source spares and having huge repair bills for a vintage engine. This car can be serviced and replacement parts bought in any garage. So no need to go to a specialist any longer. The car is very economical to run and we often go 100 miles and more to weddings in it. The car should pay for itself within 3 months or so if you book it out twice a week. At peak times we have had this car out 3/4 times a week. Small areas of paint could do with tidying up ready for the new season and this is reflected in the price. Has a fantastic sun roof fully working for those summer days and drives well. The engine conversion alone cost us over £3000 but has been worth it.
Generally a great investment and winning bidder to collect within 5 days. Car is in Ayrshire and within easy access of motorways and airports.
Cash on collection and no overseas bidders unless you can come to see us within 3 days of auction ending.
