1968 Ford Escort Twincam. originally manufactured by Ford Motor Co. and 1st. regd. 6-2-68 still on original chassis no. B48GP. 32582. Reg. noXOO 354F. Original  type BB48 body shell as was when originally built. ery rare. History of car  may be found in the works Escort book 2nd. dition by Graham Robson. The period bodyshell has been totally restored to its original condition and resprayed its original colour of Ermine White. Fitted  Safety devices period pattern steel rollcage. ilstein dampers + competition springs. Heavy duty world cup X member and engine brkts. high ratio steering rack + h/duty coupling. Period works pattern steering wheel. Salisbury competition limited slip diff. 4-1. ratio. Original type 2000E 3 rail gearbox. Period magnesium minilite 6x13 wheels + spare all fitted period used Goodyear rallyspecial tyresDual circuit brakes with adjustable pedal box. Original  RS. wiring loom with 140mph. dial instrument panel. Fitted 1. 6 litre Lotus twincam engine on twin 40dcoe webers. also a big wing anti surge sump. Big bore 4 branch exhaust manifold and system. Car still fitted with genuine Ford Motor Co. riple x glass except replacement windscreen. Original period Contour bucket seats + period full harness safety belts. period ford black carpet and roof lining to go. This car has been in the ownership and custody of present keeper for over 40years.
