An amazing 930!

VERY cool--this 930 was built for and by the owner of one of our very well regarded Porsche enthusiast shops. and it's car's seen nothing but the best of care and attention.

Power is stratospheric. the car is cosmetically beautiful. and the whole package is spectacular--this is a GREAT 930 to add to your collection!

Starting with a nearly flawless car. Chris White. owner of Autobahn Extremist. wanted more power.

Sure. you can add 100 hp without doing too much to a 930. but that wasn't ambitious enough.

The engine was removed and torn down to the case halves. where nearly everything was tossed out in favor of higher quality parts.

The crankshaft was sent out for polishing. balancing and knife edging. The connecting rods are from Carillo. while the pistons and cylinders are 3. 4 liter pieces from RUF.

The bearings and pistons were sent out for NASCAR-spec coatings. you could just about run the motor without oil.

The oil pump is a 964 turbo piece. and the flywheel is lightened.

The heads were extensively ported and polished. as were the intake manifold and injector blocks.

There are now two spark plugs per cylinder. though the car's never run with the second set firing--Chris ran nothing but race fuel. for the fun of it--though the second set would allow for pump gas.

The turbo is a custom piece based on a Garrett T 4 that Chris mixed up. there's a Ti Al blow off valve in place of the restrictive recirculation manifold. and the intercooler is a one-off made to his design.

The CIS system is propped up at high boost levels by a 7 th injector and fueling module below the driver's seat.

A full Billy Boat exhaust with a merge collector and high flow muffler allow gasses to pass with a minimum of effort.

Cliffs Notes:  This engine runs like a scalded cat. and it cost a PILE of money!

Outside. the bright white finish is in spectacular shape.

There are no dents. marks or issues. and it's stunningly clean.

The 930 S style front bumper and Hella H 4 headlights clean up the forward view. though we have the original spoiler and rubber spoiler if you'd prefer.

The Fikse wheels are 17" in diameter. fully polished. rare and beautiful.

They really set off the car. and the deep lip on the rear wheels looks amazing.

"Big Red" 993 turbo front calipers and rotors replace the already-great front pieces for added stopping power and looks.

The car is lowered to Euro ride height. and that's it--there isn't much you need to do to a 930 to make it look like it's ready to fly!

Inside. the original upholstery is as nice as we've seen in a car from 1979.

The carpets and seats are SUPER clean.

There's a newer Blaupunkt cassette deck in the dash. as well as a 6 CD changer under the passenger seat and an amplifier under the driver's.

New speakers fit into the factory holes. and the under-seat items are mounted on plates with NO holes drilled into the car.

Inside and out this 930 is a concours winner. and on the open road it's an animal.

Returns are allowed in the event the vehicle is shipped and you are dissatisfied.
