1985 Jeep CJ 1985 JEEP CJ7 RUST FREE - SURVIVOR

Selling 1985 Jeep CJ 7 . This CJ is still very original in many ways. Not cut up and no rusted. Not patched up. Nice body metal. This CJ even retains much of what i believe to be original paint. The frame and bottom side floor pans look outstanding. SEE PHOTOS and VIDEO. This CJ has been cared for and maintained over the years. Auto checker report saying that this CJ was a one owner for 30 years of it's life. ( Auto checker also reporting (No vehicle damage history of any kind ) The in dash ( gauge cluster ) that holds the odo & spedo as well as gas and temp gauge was replace because the ( Spedo and gas gauge in cluster did not work). Was replaced and now everything in cluster working correct even the in dash e brake warning light. So auto checker reporting mileage not original. Not selling as a original mile 37 year old vehicle. I just spend 120 labor hours and many dollars going over this CJ front to rear. Fixing, replacing, repairing, servicing, adjusting and tuning.

A CJ nutter by pass was done to clean up the wiring and motor bay. I cover this in Video. This CJ is now fitted with Jeep CJ TF 999 auto transmission with a floor shift box. Transmission shifts nice and the kink down "passing gear" even works correct. SEE DRIVING VIDEO. The running gear under this CJ is all in good working conduction and leak free. Everything was just maintained and serviced it's ready to go. The running gear under is all CJ running gear. It's powered by a Jeep 4.2 motor, Jeep CJ tf 999 auto trans, Jeep dana 300 4 by 4 transfer case. Jeep CJ amc 20 rear end. It also has factory power steering, factory CJ disc brake, factory tilt steering and sway bar. This is a CJ you drive - "Not it drive you". A few CJ motor upgrades done to improve the reliability and add performance. A new motor craft 2100 - 1.08 carb with 47 main jets with electric choke installed to improve performance and cold start issue the factory one had. Motor also fitted with the good GM style HEI distributor and bigger 8.5 mm wires. I also added / upgraded the factory timing chain to a much higher quality "Melling roller timing chain with "metal timing gear". Not the plastic gear the factory used. Magflow exhaust sounds great. All under hood smog related items than rob horse power and hamper performance delighted from this Jeep like CJ guy do. SEE MOTOR VIDEO This CJ still retains it factory gearing ( Not rock crawler low gearing ) This is a CJ that can be driven and enjoyed on the street, highway and off road. It's a Classic CJ in very nice mechanical conduction that also looks very nice. Buyers always welcome to view in person before buying.
