You are viewing an exceptional original survival class quality, matching numbers 914 with original paint, so you can see there's no accident history, and by looking at all the internal photos you'll see there's no rust either. There are details and markings throughout this car that are lost and/or rarely duplicated in a restoration. Please take note of the first photo, and you can see the factory seam sealer that dripped a little and they painted over it. It's an original detail I wouldn't dare change or touch up, It came this way and should be left alone. The original undercarriage and wheel wells really clarify the condition of this magnificent survivor. If you're restoring one and want to know exactly how these cars left the factory, have a look at the bottom of this one. Body color only covered about 12 inches in from each side, up to the light gray primer sealer that's underneath the body color of the entire body, followed by a black rust inhibitor over the gray the remainder of the undercarriage. The Porsche script on each side is not a decal, It's painted and delivered this way new. Engine number is GC 004504 and transaxle number is HA 061 U 5. The XZX Michelin tires were installed in 1977 and have plenty of tread, however we all know they are not to be driven on any distance, so I only left them on for this listing, and will have a new set installed before shipping to the new owner. The spare is the factory original for show purpose only. It runs, shifts, and stops as designed without issues or leaks. I have taken many photos so with e Bay's limit of only 24, it's difficult to decide which ones to post, so if there's something you need a photo of and don't already see it here, like a closeup of the driver's side hinge pillar with the paint data tag, which is excellent, just ask and I'll attach up to 5 to your message, which is also e Bay's limit. I set the reserve much lower than its value, so it will sell and give everyone a chance to own this magnificent survivor
