1962 Ford Galaxie

Remember the beginning days of NASCAR racing….

Here is a fully restored very clean 1962 Ford Galaxie Sedan with 406 Tri-power engine and 4 Speed T 10 transmission.

Rare find post style. body code 62 B with less than 200 miles on restoration.

All brand-new OEM upholstery in red and white with silver trim covering the bench seats.

Finished with new carpet and headliner covering Dynamat to cut down on the noise from the roaring Flowmaster exhaust system.

To keep with the NASCAR style. the car was outfitted with 15 X 7 s in the front and 15 X 8 s in the rear. wrapped with BF Goodrich tires.

The engine is a 390 that has been punched out to a 406 specification by L&R Automotive (as seen on TV show Overhaulin').

It is set up with three deuces and OEM shorty headers.

Complete wiring harnesses (by Class Tech. Bend. OR) installed from front to rear.

New suspension system. including a two-inch sway bar for a smooth jaunt around the racetrack.

New stainless steel brake system installed to stop this roaring beast.

Without sparing any expense. installed new stainless steel gas lines and gas tank to feed the three deuces.

This car shines with new chrome (D&R. Huntington Park. CA) front to back. inside and out. Complete bodywork and painted OEM Rangoon red. fitting for this muscle car.

Front floor pans replaced and rear floor pans repaired.

Attention to detail on this rebuild is evident as all nut. bolt and washers (SFI. Cerritos. CA) were replaced.

Pictures taken throughout restoration (dismantling and reassembling).

Have receipts for all work done and parts purchased.
