You are bidding on a fantastic old hotrod 1956 Ford F 100 half-ton show truck.

This truck was a contender in the 70's and 80's. and still looks fantastic with a well-cared-for vintage patina that only comes with time and love.
The body panels are exceptionally straight. and the truck has no rust-through to be found.

It features a high-end older repaint (30 years?) in Candy Brandywine Metallic. which appears as a dark plum metallic color very pretty.

The paint is still in excellent condition and shines literally like new.

Of course. there are minor scratches. nicks. etc. consistent with an older vehicle. but they all fade into the background with the beautiful paint and shine.

The truck features all original sheet metal panels with the exception of the custom bumper-elimating front and rear lower valence panels. and custom rear tail gate.

The front. rear. and side window glass is all very nice the wing windows show delimitation bubbles and should be replaced.

Custom features include the aforementioned front and rear valence panels. tail gate. fuel tank relocated under the bed. fuel filler neck shaved. door handles shaved. and front chrome trim all shaved except the dual outside rear view mirrors. and the "V 8" front grill emblem. looks fantastic.
The drivetrain has been rebuilt and includes a high-performance rebuilt 351 Cleveland-based engine (approximately 375 HP) featuring a performance cam. Edelbrock aluminum 4 v intake. new Edelbrock 4 v carb. Mallory electronic ignition distributor. Mallory coil. bigger radiator. aluminum overflow tube. and more.

The engine bay is painted to match the truck and looks fantastic.
The transmission is a rebuilt C 6 automatic in proper working order controlled by a B&M Star Shifter.

The rear end is a 9" Ford featuring 3. 70 rear gears.

Original front and rear suspension with an axle-over-spring conversion in the rear to lower the truck 4". and custom springs in front to match .

This truck runs GREAT and drives very well too.

She's a hotrod with tons of power and will spin the tires on demand.

The wheels are fully chromed Baby Moons with Goodyear Eagle GT performance radial tires.

Brakes are drum all around. working well and stopping straight.

Steering is original and not too loose. some of these old trucks are tricky this one is very easy to drive.
The wiring harness has been replaced with a contemporary Auto Wire harness including a contemporary fuse panel.

The headlamps. turn signals. brake lights. wipers. and heater all work.
The interior features a custom digital dash in a brushed aluminum bezel.

The upper dash and door panels are painted to match the truck. with the lower door panels. carpet. upholstery. etc. black.

The seat upholstery is newer. as is the carpet.

No headliner currently.

Seat base has been removed. lowering the original bench seat for more headroom.
The wood in the bed appears to be original and is still physically sound. although faded and aged with time.

The filler for the fuel tank is located in the bed.

There is minor bubbling of the paint on the roof panel. adjacent to the drip rail.

I "explored" the areas and it seems that there was some minor surface rust that must not have been fully addressed way back when the truck was painted cosmetic only and minimal.

I took pictures of both sides and they are shown as the last two images.

As far as things I know the truck needs or can use. here's a comprehensive list: Front turn signal lenses. both wing window glass pieces. window felts/rubbers. door weatherstripping. and an interior headliner.

Anything else would be discretionary as part of taking the truck to the next level.

She's not perfect. but she's very cool. sound. and good-looking. a real head turner priced to sell.
Clear title in hand.

I must reserve the right to end the auction early as I have it advertised for sale locally as well.
