I used to drive a Scrambler in 1984-85 so when I found this mostly original Jeep a few years ago, I bought it.  I've enjoyed driving this trouble free classic but I'm nearing retirement and feel a need to cull the herd.It was originally a garage queen from California.  The next buyer flew in and drove it to his residence in Austin.  After a short time ownership, he told me it was "too nice" for his use so I flew out 2.5 years ago and drove it back the 600 miles to our NM mountain home.  It's a nostalgic vehicle for me.  I've enjoyed it immensely and love to hear and see people's reactions.  Most can appreciate a good looking Jeep classic. It does have a high quality satin black repaint with and a Howell fuel injection.  Original carburetor, smog pump, factory air cleaner all included.Fully loaded from the factory with A/C, heat, clock, tach, dash mount ash tray, Laredo badge on glovebox, original chrome bumper, original chrome grill.  ALL gauges work, including the clock!  Tires have about 3500 miles on them and are BFG All Terrain 32x11.5 mounted on chrome Baja wheels.See it in a commercial:  https://vimeo.com/334783454/c07f959574I bought it with 60K miles and since owning it:  LOF, new tires, oil pan gasket, rear main seal, valve cover gasket, front leaf spring bushings, front link pins. It's only got the 4.2 liter 258 cu.in. 6-cylinder engine with AT so if you want HORSEPOWER instead of ORIGINALITY, please look somewhere else.  Or by a Gladiator...[Purchase Terms:  $500 deposit as usual within 3 days.  Wire remainder within 7 days of auction close.  Thank you.]
