1972 Chevrolet Chevelle 454 SS Frame Off Restoration for sale

This 1972 SS 454 Chevelle has received a complete frame-off restoration in 2012. Since this restoration. the car has been driven approximately 600 miles. The frame was sandblasted. coated in chassis black paint and then reassembled with all new parts. The body was stripped to bare metal. undercarriage was also painted in chassis black. The remainder of the body was primed in epoxy inside and out and then the inside was coated in black factory sealer. Afterwards. it was brought back together with a high gloss factory correct paint and clear coat. The interior was completely redone with new carpet. upholstery. door panels. headliner. all new wiring. pedals. chrome. etc. This Chevelle has a retro autosound radio with an iPod connection and an aftermarket (Phoenix Gold) amp that powers the speakers in the rear deck. The trunk has the period specific rubber mat but does not have a jack or spare tire. All interior light are in perfect working condition to include the heater/defrost. clock. switches. and instruments. For the engine and drivetrain. this Chevelle has 4:10 gears with a 12 bolt positraction. The 454 was professionally rebuilt and conservatively rated at 450 HP. Furthermore. this '72 has all new parts from the carb to the pan. Some of the parts include: 750 Holley Edelbrock intake. aluminum heads. MSD ignition. MSD high torque starter. Holley electric fuel pump. 6 quart wide pan. high volume oil pump. aluminum radiator. working Cowl induction. headers and an 2. 5" SS Magnaflow exhaust. The transmission is a TH400 which was professionally rebuilt with a 2400 stall converter. shift kit. B&M deep sump pan and filter. all new lines. U-joints and flywheel. To conclude. this 454 SS clone has been restored to exceed the standards and is a pristine example of the 1972 Chevelle SS 454. Always garaged. Looks & runs great. New paint. Never seen snow. New tires. Must see. No accidents. Runs & drives great. Upgraded sound system. Very clean interior and Well maintained.
