1961 Chrysler New Yorker 4 door sedan. This beautiful and original Chrysler originally came from a doctor in Norwich New York. The color is Alaskan white with Tahitian turquoise top. Originally came all white. The story goes the doctors wife didn't want all white. So she chose the color for the top and the dealer painted it for her. I purchased this car from the second owner. The car looks great in pictures. But it does have a share of chips and paint touchups all around. Especially around the front headlights which were a common problem with these cars. It could use a proper repair. Also the bottom of the passenger side doors were touched up years ago. Color does not match very well. Nonetheless it's a fantastic looking car. It's solid and it runs and drives great. The original interior is beautiful. The original chrome and stainless are in very good condition for its age. All the factory tint glass is original and in excellent condition. The wipers work. The radio seems to work but station does not come in clear. Probably because the antenna will not go up..Recent things done to the car include tuneup, brakes checked new exhaust and gas tank. These big wing Chryslers are getting hard to find. Not many around. Especially in decent condition.This is a great looking driver, not a show car. I have clear transferable New York State registration, which is the Title. This Chrysler is being Sold As Is.
