Vehicle Description

This is a True Rally Sport that was sent back to South Carolina for a Full Restoration. It is rust free. with its original factory undercoating still intact. The original color was Seafrost Green. it was repainted in Island Teal. which was an original factory color offered in 1968 but only on 2. 5% of the cars. The original black standard interior was upgraded to Pearl Parchment Deluxe. The interior emblems that go on the front seats are available but not installed. The engine was recently rebuilt with a mild cam and electronic ignition upgrade. The rear end has a 3. 73 posi. The original 2 bbl carb has been replaced by a 4 bbl. the original is intack and comes with the car. The original manifolds have also been replaced but are avaible and will also come with the sale. It has headers and a completely new exhaust. the original exhaust manifolds come with the car. The front brakes have been upgraded to discs. the back are still drums. The console guages work except the alternator monitor. A Hotchkis sport suspension was installed last year along with remote starter solenoid to prevent slow starts from hot headers. The original gas tank has been replaced. All of the bodypanels are original. except the right front. which was replaced and we do not know why. The engine is a matching numbers. the 5 speed transmission was added so it is not matching. It came with factory air conditioning and the vigilite lamp monitorj option. New components include Front & rear spoilers. front and rear chrome bumpers and bumper guards. new rally wheels and new tires and new battery.
