Here is your chance to own a beautifully colored rare 1973 Porsche 911 S Targa that has just underwent a full restoration. Having been stripped down to bare metal it has been professionally refinished in its original Coffee Brown 80342. Not to be confused with Sepia Brown a much more common color, Coffee Brown is a extremely rare color option which was a special ordered option for this year and is such a deep and dark brown that in certain lights resembles black.In addition to its beautiful exterior, the undercarriage of the vehicle has been fully gone through. Both the front and rear suspensions were removed from the vehicle, disassembled, refinished and restored with all new bushings, bearings and correctly plated fasteners. The brake calipers were rebuilt, soft lines replaced with stainless steel braided lines and hard lines removed, cleaned and replated. Whilst the suspension work was carried out the transmission underwent a service were it saw a replacement main shaft seal and side cover seals (nothing else was deemed inadequate). Along side the transmission the engine also received an overhaul. The engine's MFI system was refreshed with cleaned injectors, new air filter, retune and balancing. The engine itself underwent a valve adjustment, new spark plugs, spark plug wires, rotor, cap, ignition points, received a new clutch and reground flywheel, full reseal (valve cover, rear and front crankshaft seals etc) and received a new muffler. To ensure the longevity of the engine all rubber oil lines were replaced alongside the on engine oil cooler, while the undercarriage hard lines, oil tank, "Trombone" style oil cooler and oil thermostat were all removed disassembled cleaned and refitted.
