1974 VW Thing

Body off painted Viper red. Every single piece isolated. Gorgeous and stunning. All new rubber and trim along with all brand new stainless nuts and bolts. Every one of them. 1914cc motor with mild cam. Rebuilt stock transmission with of course new clutch. Approximately 5000 street driven miles only. Dual (newest version) 40 Empi carbs. Everything else new as well. :Electric fuel pump. oil sump. ceramic coated exhaust. you name it: It's been replaced new with build.
Suspsension is Fox shocks all way around with 2. 0 reservoirs. Limit straps. Rear has been notched one click.  Has 3" Up Your Bug body lift. New CV joints. boots. etc. Front beam cut and turned with new leafs installed. Disc front brakes.   Centerlines with 90% tread BFG's. Matching spare.
This car has nothing but the best. Look at pictures closely. Look at all the detail. The extra's are endless. Alpine stereo with Ipod/disc. equalizer. etc. Locking glove box. Tach. oil pressure. electric fuel shut off /club lock/locking steering (not going to get stolen a second time)
The top rack is custom fabricated and fitted as well and is removable.  
This vehicle has been driven 99% of the time around town with doors off. windshield down and wind in your face. But with doors. window rock guards. it has numerous personalities. If you desire a soft top. Have at it and pick one up for a few hundred bucks. But doubt you will use it after driving this little gem without it. Car runs and drives perfect. Needs nothing.
