Selling for a friend - I've dropped the price and I've taken the best offer away - If it does not sell this week, keeping the car for now.  I'm also listing the car locally.

Over all the paint looks great, shined up great, smooth and looks good up close. No scrapes, scratches, or bad nicks anywhere that I remember. There are some small runs under the dash, but overall - very good looking car. The body looks good, solid, clean, no rust and no soft spots anywhere to my knowledge. Surprising solid well running car. Watch the video.

The VW lived in dry Roswell, New Mexico for over 45 years.  Now located and garaged in The Woodlands, Texas.

New upper ceiling liner, (lower portion needs replacing by back window) new seat covers front and back, new front windshield, good seals, bushings are still in okay shape, steering seams tight, mechanicals work great - transmission, clutch, brakes, and previously rebuilt engine runs excellent.  Floor pans are still solid - showing surface rust, but I don't see any holes.  Underside just needs to be cleaned up and painted.  The car has been stored inside a garage for many years.  Shocks work fine, however they could be replaced also - showing surface rust also.  Brakes were rebuild with new lines at some point.

Video link of the 1500cc previously rebuilt motor running.  Motor was rebuilt about 10-12 years ago? (I don't have reciepts) - I would say there are 13,000 to 15,000 miles on the motor - runs well, to be expected a few oil drips - nothing major.

Info on the 1967 VW:

Arguably the most sought after is the 1967 1500cc, 'one year only' model manufactured from the 1stAugust1966 to 31st July 1967. It combines the early styling of the VW Bug with the more advanced engineering of the later models. The 1967 Volkswagen Beetle's engine was upsized to 1493-cc (as on Type 3) and 53 horsepower

The 67 Beetle featured a12-volt electrical system. '67 was the last year the Beetle had an all-metal dashboard and rounded fenders with uniquely shaped overriders The rear suspension was significantly revised and included a widened track, softer torsion bars and the addition of a unique Z-configuration equalizing torsion spring. On US, UK, and Ireland models, the generator output was increased from180 to 360 watts, and the entire electrical system was upgraded from 6 to 12volts. The clutch disc also increased in size and changes were made to the flywheel. New equipment included a driver's armrest on the door and locking buttons on both doors. Safety improvements included two-speed windscreen wipers, reversing lights (in some markets), and a driver's side mirror. In accord with the newly enacted US Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108,North American models received a dual-circuit brake system, the clear glass headlamp covers were deleted; the headlamps were brought forward to the leading edge of the front fenders, and the sealed-beam units were exposed and surrounded by chrome bezels. For 1967 North American market Beetles the engine lid was shortened and reshaped to accommodate the optional1500 engine.
