Regarding pictures, I have over 40 pictures of the car, but EBAY only allowed 18 pictures. Please message me and I will send any picture you request. I can also take any picture you want if I haven't taken it already. GENERAL INFORMATION:1980 Honda Accord SEDAN---1.8L CVCC 4cyl Engine---5spd Transmission---136k Original MilesEXTERIOR:This Honda Accord survivor has the original BG-11M “Hampstead Green Metallic” paint from 1980. The body is in excellent condition. There is some rust on the driver side front fender, and on the passenger side lower side skirt (both are clearly shown in the pictures). All the chrome is in amazing condition. There is no pitting/staining/rust on any of the chrome. All the chrome looks like a mirror which is impressive for being 41 years old. The hood has been repainted in the past. All the black rubber around the front and rear bumpers looks new with no fading or dry rot. All the lenses/taillights/headlights work flawlessly with no issue or cracks. This Accord still has the original 13” Honda wheels with the center caps.INTERIOR:The interior is in amazing condition and has been taken care of. The original green cloth seats were covered in gray fabric to protect the original seats. So yes, the original green cloth is still under the gray. The dash is immaculate with no fading or cracking. The shifter knob is original along with the shifter boot. This Accord even has the original green 4-piece Honda Accord branded OEM Floor Mats. The headliner is immaculate as well with no sagging or damage. All 4 door panels look fantastic with no damage. Everything in the gauge cluster works perfect as well. The factory cassette has been replaced with a Bluetooth enabled JVC CD-Player (the factory cassette is still included with the car). There is a small microphone mounted beside the cigarette lighter as you can see in the pictures. This allows phone calls to be taken through the car's speakers. All 4 speakers have been replaced, and a Kicker subwoofer added in the trunk as well. The amplifier for the subwoofer has been installed under the passenger front seat. This Accord was not equipped with Air Conditioning, but you can get fresh air from outside by simply opening the vents. The heat works great and the blower motor is strong.ENGINE:This Accord has the original 1.8L CVCC 4-cylinder engine w/ 72 horsepower. The engine runs very well and the transmission shifts perfectly. This car is ready to make a cross country trip as it sits. With a few pumps of the gas pedal, this car will fire right up and idle around 2,000rpms. Once fully warm, it will idle smooth around 900rpms. Like with any carbureted engine, it will occasionally stall if you try to drive it with the engine still cold. I'm sure the carburetor could be adjusted to get this car back to like new, but I've driven it just fine how it is.TRUNK:The trunk area is extremely nice with all the original paneling. There is also the accessory green carpet added in the back from the factory. The spare tire, original jack, and Honda Motors tool kit are all present like the day it left the dealership.TIRES:The tires are in excellent condition with good tread left. There are Kenda Kenetica Radials 185/70R13. PROVENANCE/DOCUMENTATION:This Accord was originally purchased 03-10-1980 in Gladstone, OR for $6,568. As you can see in the pictures, this car comes with ALL the original paperwork including the window sticker, purchase receipt, dealership folder, owner's manual, rust protection document, cassette operating instructions, dealership brochure, etc. The paperwork that has survived 41 years with this Honda Accord really tells a story about how well kept this Accord was. From what I gathered from the paperwork trail, this car has went from Oregon to Washington to Idaho to Virginia to South Carolina. This Honda Accord has a clean Virginia title. OVERALL:I love this Honda Accord and I purchased the car recently with the intent to garage the car and enjoy it over the weekends and take it to cruise-ins. I decided this week to briefly test the market since the collector car market is very hot right now. Feel free to set up a time to view the car and take it for a drive. If the car doesn't sell, I will simply take the listing down and keep the car in my collection as I originally intended. Thank you for your interest and reading all the way to the end. Have a great day!
