This car is pretty much original, spent the last 25 years in storage. Back story is it spent its first 2 years used by General Motors Dealerships for promotion, then sold to a FDNY firefighter in the Bronx for 12 years then sold to a gentlemen in upstate New York. It was used as a daily driver, then garaged to take care of his kids. In 2015, the 4.9 / 301 motor was pulled, disassembled, Crank/Bearing refreshed, heads and manifolds checked over, cam / lifters, oil & water pump along with complete gasket kit. No engine leaks at this time. Garrett Turbo charger checked over and refreshed, impeller / waste gate in perfect shape. TH 350 trans is tight, shifts well, input shaft and tail shaft replaced at that time. The Rochester Quadrajet Carburetor is the OEM. No leaks / Vacuum tested well, but could use a rebuild due to age. Four barrels and turbo spool up in harmony. Tires look brand new, but the DOT is 2805 and have flat spots from sitting on the concrete storage floor. Engine wiring harness and vacuum lines have been updated / refreshed as needed for proper operation. Limited Slip Rear Axle fresh fluid and no leaks at seals. Instrument Panel / Gauges cleaned & polished, dash lights replaced (Lights Up in the Red Glow Specific to these cars). Clock on Dash still works, keeps perfect time. "TURBO CHARGE" PANEL LIGHTS WORK

2021 New Parts / Services performed:

REMEMBER THIS CAR IS 40 YEARS OLD and will need additional work. She has dings a dents, driver door and RR Qtr dented, paint cracking, etc. There are little drill holes down the sides where the body side moldings used to be. It has been gone over mechanically and the cosmetic's of the car cleaned, painted, touched up to keep it as original as possible. Items of attention / Full Disclosure. The frame and undercarriage is in great shape, little rust for a 40 year old car. Does have some small rust issues, right/left lower front fenders, front rockers, driver side front floor pan / several small rust holes (has sheet metal installed / epoxied down for seal interior compartment from outside). The emergency brake cable is inop, due to this floor pan needing to be replaced (parts are available on most resto firebird sites. I do have a brand new emergency brake cable in the box, included in the sale. Trunk area is solid, rust out under decklid though, could be filled or replace lid, closes and looks good. This car would benefit from a complete repaint / new decals. Body Items to note: Hood, front bumper, driver door is original paint. Spoilers are original, have been freshened up. Rear quarters are rust free, had paint work done. Rear tail panel and bumper rust free. RS Door & Fender have been repainted at one time, paint lifting. Both doors have a little sag, normal on these. Hinges / pins in good shape, door handles work. Headliner fabric missing but backing board is complete, no water damage from T-Tops, Interior was cleaned & checked over. All in good shape, exception is driver seat is worn out, frame rusted/warped, front seat frame bolt not attached, seat moves. Needs to be replaced for daily driving (I currently have a 4 x 4 and pillow supporting seat back. Plenty of pics detailing all this plus videos on Engine sound, acceleration and operation at speed on the Facebook page.

THIS CAR HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO BE TRANSPORTED DUE TO SAFETY CONCERNS (Driver Seat Frame not secured & Aged DOT / Flat Spotted Tires).

Has a Clean New York State Title / transfer docs
