Volkswagen Beetle - Classic. Awesome, 1 owner, 67 Bug!Original owner is an elderly woman, who recently went to live in a rest home. He son asked me to sell it for them. She purchased the VW new in Sacramento, and it's spent it's entire life in Chico, CA The miles are believed to be 129K original. It's had the motor rebuilt one time, and the miles on the rebuild are very low. Maybe 20K.The transmission in the standard VW 4spd. works very well. Doesn't pop out of any gears. No strange noise. Works as it should. The engine just had a full tune-up, and the carb. was rebuilt, along with an oil/filter change. New rear wheel bearings, and axle seals. as well as inner CV boots. The body is near perfect. ZERO rust! All body panels are original to the car. The car was originally white, and has had 1 repaint over the years, unfortunately the color was changed. All body panels, still have the original white paint under the gold. This model has the sliding sunroof. Haven't tried to open it, due to it being winter, and just in case, I dont want it to leak.  The brakes were recently done. All new hardware kits, new shoes, and all 4 new wheel cylinders, new master cylinder, and all new rubber brake hoses. The tires are brand NEW, dont have 100 miles on them. No rust holes in the pan, or anywhere else, for that matter. The battery tray is even clean. This car starts, runs, idles, drives, shifts, accelerates, steers, handles, and brakes very well, as expected for a 67 Beetle. This car has very low original miles, and many of them were from being towed behind a motorhome. There is an electrical plug on the front apron, that was used when towing for lights on the bug. There is also a few snap grommets, that were for attaching a cover on the windshield, to avoid rock chips, when being towed. The original keys still work on both the doors, and the ignition. The interior was completely done years ago, in a professional red cloth, red carpeting, and a white headliner. The interior upholstery/carpeting is still in remarkably good condition. Some fading, but no rips, tears, or stains. The only damage to the body, that I can see, is a small tear, on the lower edge of the left rear fender. The bumpers are even original to the car, and have no dents in them. But, the chrome is aging. Please ask any questions, that you may have, prior to bidding. By, clicking on the link at the top right. Bid to win, and good luck! I can store the vehicle for up to 1 month, without charge, after being paid in full, while the buyer arranges for a transporter. I prefer a $500 deposit within 24 hours, via eBay. And I'd like the balance paid, via a wire transfer, within 3 days. Unless the buyer is picking up the car in person, then cash is also fine. I will be happy to assist in loading the car.
