Classified Sale June 1979 Ford Capri Mk 3 2.0 lt "S" in Ford "Diamond White"Only 2 Previous Owners From New.117,000 mls.Original Sales & Service History Remains with this Capri, a Very Rare Find now.This Capri has recently been unearthed & is a true find, this is an Very early German Built June 1979 Mk 3 2.0 lt "S"
This Capri has never been "Got At" by the "Doer Upper" brigade & as such is a Gem of a find.
The interior is Black with Red/Orange tartan inserts as per the images.
The Rear Seats are not Thread Bare or Faded/Bleached from the Sun.
The Black Door Cards have not been Cut for Speakers.
The Black Carpet is Mint.
The Black Dash is NOT Cracked.
The 2 Speed Heater Works...
The Sunroof Works...
The Heated Rear Screen Works...
This Capri is a Very Rare Find, an Early 79 Mk 3 "S"
Everything Works on this Capri & i wouldn't be suprised if it flew through an MOT tomorrow.
The Previous Owners have Wax Oiled the Capri massively over the decades & having viewed it from underneath i can say that all the normal Capri areas of Corrosion with Capri are Not evident on this one.
Sills are Unwelded & original as are the floors.
The "A" post's are Original & Un Corroded.
The Screen Scuttle is Original &Un Corroded
Both Inner Wings and Strut Tops are Original & Un Corroded The Rear Spring Hangers are Un Corroded The Rear Front Spring to Floor Section's are Un Corroded The Sunroof /Roof Panel is Not Corroded.From Undearneath & Lifting the Interior Carpet both sides of the Front Floors appear to be also Un Corroded.The Rear Tailgate to Roof Hinge section's are Un Corroded.This 2.0 lt "S" Capri comes with all it's Original Mechanicals as built in 1979.The Original "number's matching" 2.0 lt Pinto is Strong, Start's Easily & holds a Good Oil Pressure.The original Capri 2.0 lt 4 Spd Gearbox with the external Rod Linkage.The original 3.44 Rear Axle as fitted back in 1979 in Germany.Images to follow.To finalise....This i s a very Genuine & Early Mk 3 Ford Capri "S"
