This is a very rare and desirable Candyapple Red 1968 Shelby GT 500 convertible with only 43,988 original miles. This Shelby has also been signed by Carrol Shelby on the Glove box. This outstanding convertible Shelby was factory equipped with:

428/360 HP Cobra Jet Powerplant

C 6 3 Speed automatic transmission (not equipped currently, but will be sold with car)

All the originals will be sold with the sale of the car. The owner did an amazing job of making sure the car could be put back to its original condition. Aftermarket items: Tremec 5-speed transmission, Bluetooth radio (looks like a stock AM radio), aftermarket speakers, and radial tires. Items that are not original and hard to put back to original condition: soft top should be white instead of black, center white stripe is painted but was a decal from the factory.
