The clutch and hydraulic cylinders were reportedly replaced in March 2020, along with the timing and balance shaft belts, the rear main seal, ignition components, and the tires. This 944 was recently acquired by the seller's brother and is now being offered on his behalf with factory manuals, window sticker, a set of Porsche Design 90 wheels and other spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title.
The exterior is finished in Guards Red (LM 3 A) and features fog lights, a removable sunroof panel, a black rear spoiler, side protection moldings, and The pop-up headlights have been upgraded with replaceable H 4 bulbs and can be seen both raised and lowered in the gallery. Amenities include power windows, a Blaupunkt Bluetooth multimedia stereo, and a rear hatch privacy screen. The air conditioning was re-charged and replacement sunroof weatherstripping was installed in March 2020 per the seller. The switch on the driver's door to raise the passenger window is inoperable, and other noted flaws include seam separation at the driver's seat outer bolster and a non-functional electronic rear hatch release.
The 2.5-liter inline-four has been fitted with a K&N air filter, an aftermarket throttle response cam, and a Dansk polished cat-back exhaust. Work in March 2020 is said to have included a timing belt service, along with a replacement rear main seal, clutch, clutch cylinders, ignition wires, spark plugs, battery, DME relay, speed sensors, and an oil and filter change. Replacement motor mounts were installed in January 2021. The removed stock exhaust will accompany the vehicle.
