For sale is my 1962 Studebaker Champ Pickup, type E. It has a short-wide bed with oak side rails and comes with a tonneau cover for the bed if you want to remove the rails. It has a great running 289 V/8 made by Studebaker. It's NOT a Ford 289. Comes with a 4 speed, on the floor, manual transmission that has a new clutch and pressure plate installed this year. It has a Dana limited slip differential with a 331 gear ratio. A 4 core aluminum radiator keeps the engine cool and Air Conditioning keeps the cab cool. Mild sounding dual exhaust has been installed that has a nice rumble. Five new radial whitewall tires with original hubcaps and beauty rings give it a great nostalgic look. The cab has a sliding rear window and a professionally installed new interior. All the gauges work, even the clock. Mechanically, the brake lines and wheel cylinders have been replaced, all shackles and bushings were replaced along with new shock absorbers all around. It starts up quickly, runs good and doesn't smoke. I checked the engine recently and all cylinders had even compression. It drives down the freeway nicely with no shakes or rattles and the tires are balanced perfectly. It's been repainted an original Desert Tan and shines nicely but has a few minor imperfections. It's not a trailer queen but is a fun driver and gets a lot of looks and comments at the car shows and parades. I am the owner and have a clear title in my name.
