This is a 1980 Ford F150 short bed fleetside 4x4 pick up. We think this is a truly very genuine truck, with an engine that runs superbly, and is very solid underneath. You'll see this is an old vehicle in general solid condition, the very cool patina just starting, and it has tight steering, a smooth engine and gearbox - everything about it just feels and looks right, proper surf wagon, just looks great.This has the Ford 4.9 Litre Straight six engine with a 4 speed manual transmission – “4 on the floor” and its sits on original factory wheels.The straight 6 manual is indeed quite fuel efficient for a Amercan Truck that sounds fantastic and never fails to put a grin on your face. These pick ups in this condition and running order are still fast appreciating and as a result are not only hugely rewarding to own but increase in value too. They are also superb marketing tools, you can have a retro style business logo or slogan painted and rubbed to match the age and patina of the vehicle,It is best to say at this point that this is a 'historic' vehicle it is over 40 years old, it was used in the United States as a working vehicle, this is solid in the Chassis and the bodywork is very impressive for its years, but please do not expect a restored vehicle, these fetch well over £30k in gleaming conditions, but the attraction of this one is it's honest look, yet being solid as a rock, Yes there will be some weeps here and there along with some body corrosion, but very little overall.
