1963 Volkswagen Beetle Ragtop.  Original ragtop car, not grafted.  Nearly everything mechanical on the car has less than 300 miles.  My orders to the shop were "make it so that I can drive it to California if I get the bug" (pun intended).New 1641cc bespoke built motor from local engine builder with over 50 years experience.New Freeway Flyer transaxleNew Steering Box and assorted suspension bitsFull floorplans have been replaced with new high quality metal.Lucky Fab 6" narrowed adjustable beam.Porsche Fuchs replica wheels on good tires.Disc brakesPaint and body is older, certainly not perfect but car presents well enough to get "showcased" at shows.  The brick red seats are original.  Car has a super strong presence and people flip out on it wherever it goes.  If you don't want to make a whole bunch of new friends everywhere this probably isn't your move.I am only considering selling because I am getting absolutely owned by storage costs and not using the car (well, because it is in storage).  I also have a Porsche 912 for sale, see my other listings.  If that car sells I will be keeping this one.  Will consider trades for off-road rigs (preferably jeep wrangler) that can sit outside.  No nonsense or offers please.
