Welcome to the sale of my early Mk1 GTI cabriolet regd 1984.12 months MOT with no advisories.Two owners from new.Never welded.Pewter grey.Comprehensive history inc all old mots, old tax discs. literally everything this car has had over its life i have reciepts for! Very good body, no signs of rust in the usual areas. Paintwork is a bit shabby (have quickly polished in a couple of areas and looks like it will come up ok, but In my opinion it really deserves a re-spray and the roof cover replacing.Thousands have been spent on a full engine rebuild (also photo documented) new brakes, bushes, suspension running gear ect. Drives perfectly, starts on the button. no issues. No leaks. The engine is sweet as a nut.Everything works as it should in the interior, no missing pieces. carpets are in good condition. passenger seat has a hole and some loose stitching, drivers has a wear on the bolster. but on the whole not bad.BBS 15” rep wheels with good tyres and lots of tread. (one wheel has a small dent, but safe and if wished could be fixed easily)Tourneo cover is is great condition.Two sets of keys.Also have the original alloy wheels/tyres and a new front spoiler.I bought this car last year to bring it back to its best, but now my situation has changed and i just havent the time for it.With a little spent on the body it could easily be a very nice example of an early model GTI cabriolet. Soon to be tax and mot exempt.Practical classic convertible which is great fun to drive.Any questions please ask.Payment on collection.Thanks for looking..
