1985 GMC Truck for sale
Current customer rating:
1985 GMC Astro Semi Truck. It has the original Cummins NTC 300 engine with a nine speed Road Ranger transmission. The truck is in excellent condition, exterior, interior and mechanically. It has 969,000 miles but runs down the road at 70 MPH with no issues. I am the third owner and the truck was last used commercially about 21 years ago. The original owner was an owner/operator who hauled furniture throughout the country. The truck also comes with some spare parts in addition to new air horns, chrome rear wheel inserts and caps that are not installed. It originally came with a Dragfoiler, which I no longer have, but the brackets are still in place.
The sleeper has a new mattress, sheets and cover. It has new brake chambers, both front windshields and other replacement parts. It has a conventional receiver hitch and electrical plug outlet. It also has the trailer air hoses that are not installed. The tire tread on all tires is 95%. The sale also includes a parts book, service manuals, factory invoice and other documentation. It has power steering (Shepard), power passenger window, AM/FM Stereo radio and air conditioning. Everything works on the truck except for the engine oil temperature gauge. It is located in northern Virginia, about 50 west of Washington, DC. Be advised, I have been told that it will cost at least $3 a mile to have it transported. I recently had it on a 200 mile roundtrip to the ATHS National Truck show in Harrisonburg, Virginia so there is no reason why you couldn't simply drive it to your location.
