Welcome to the reluctant sale of my type 3 fastback. It was restored in Canada around 8 years ago (by a chap who owned a body shop) before being imported to the UK. During the restoration it received an inside-out bare metal respray in Turkish green - as you can see it's still in lovely condition minus a few small blemishes. During the same restoration it was also fitted with a single bag 4" narrowed king and link front beam. It also had a brand new interior including seats, dashboard, headlining, door cards etc, and all of the floor pan and underpinnings as you would expect! The chap in Canada had an engine built, which didn't stand the test of time, so I had an engine built by Afonso Motors (engine building god, 2nd engine from him) to the spec of 1915cc and twin 40s (see full spec in pics) and it has truly transformed the car into a practical classic. has been on rolling road for setup but no power run but expected to be around 100hp. I have covered a couple thousand miles this year going to shows, (where it's won prizes) and several holidays, without missing a single beat. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere, even in the winter as the heating is all present and toasty! It has been converted to 5x130 in my ownership and had the chrome powder coated cookie cutters fitted which are staggered fitment 15x7" and 6" look awesome and easy to clean! Car is located in Thetford, Norfolk and viewings can be arranged weekday evenings and weekends. Test drives can be had with proof of insurance (or cash in hand) or I can take you out in it - no problem. Swaps considered with cash my way, as the only reason for sale is buying a house.
