Sunroof, pop out rear windows (which is nice)

GCAB chassis number so German made.

MOT until July 2022 with a clean pass and no advisory's 

Very solid car, original floors with chassis number still intact, I think the car has been treated with dynotrol rust proofer as it has the grommets in the door shuts and cills etc.

Interior is all good condition with an uncut parcel shelf and very good dash with just a few small cracks round screen vent ( see pic ).

Exterior is good with only the odd small mark here and there, the car has been resprayed in the past.

It has had a battery tray fitted some time in its life but what mk3/4 escort hasn't.

Under the bonnet is decent and factory spec, nice but not minty clean.

Wheels are all really nice and have very good Pirelli P1's fitted.

Sunroof is good and works well.

No service history as such but loads of receipts and paper work including receipts for an engine rebuild back in 2015 and about 9k miles ago, and loads of other things as well.

Lots of old MOT's back to around 91/92 also.

It has had a new Carb fitted with a manual choke a couple of years ago prior to my ownership and if I'm honest it might want a little tweak or a set up as it does judder a little bit at slow speeds in high gears.

But this hasn't bothered me at all the car drives really nice and I've attended loads of classic car shows etc in it over the last year and it's never missed a beat.

It has the usual mk3 escort dodgy dash lights, sometimes the oil light comes on although the levels fine and sometimes the fuel gauge is a bit temperamental and not to be trusted, minor things and the joys of classic cars but no big deal.

So to sum it up this is a very nice presentable and useable XR3 it's in great condition but not mint or concours if you want that then you'll need £15-20k.

And remember this will be 40yrs old next and therefore will become Tax and MOT exempt

1 thing i forgot is that the key does the ignition, drivers door, boot and fuel cap but sadly not the passenger door, i just lock and unlock that from inside cheers
