Lovely early example of a VW T2 in exceptional condition. It spent its life in South Africa until 2003 and was then imported into the UK which accounts for its preservation and originality. Nothing has been messed with. All the panels are arrow straight and the top has never been cut. never needed welding unlike most of the UK vehicles out there after 40 years of salted roads! Paint is mainly original and some has faded with the African sun but it still looks very good overall. Excellent chrome;There are one or two blemishes which I have tried to show in the last three pictures. small amount of accident damage behind the sliding door. and a bit of blistering on the door bottoms and by the LH rear light. Other than that it is 100% as it came out of the factory. check out the pic of the jacking point. It is fitted with a basic camping interior with a rock and roll bed. Since arriving back in the UK it has had all neccessary work done to keep it in tip top condition. and has seven months MOT remaining. Engine starts first time and runs well. I have had the vehicle since 2009 and it has never let me down. Has to sell because of house move. so I have made the reserve sensible. or buy it now and get yourself a great Christmas present! With an upgraded interior and a little cosmetic work this would easily make a very exceptional bus. or just leave it as it is and enjoy the OG look!
