1976 Fiat X1/9. Clean Kansas Title. Originally purchased new in Arizona, at least 2 previous owners. Sat for 17 years before we purchased it with a broken timing belt. Based on body condition, pretty confident that it truly is 45,000 original miles on the chassis. Original paint and interior. The dash has never been cut for a radio, the door panels have never been cut for speakers. Equipped with a catalytic converter. Original 1300 cc engine and 4 speed transmission has been swapped out for 1500 cc engine and 5 speed transmission (mileage on the engine is unknown).  Car runs and drives.  Original engine, transmission and rear suspension pieces needed if you want to put the original engine and transmission back in are included in the sale. We've done a lot of work on this car:Rebuilt alternator (we have the original)New aluminum radiatorNew rubber brake linesNew brake master cylinderNew rotorsNew calipersNew brake padsNew clutch slave and master cylindersNew struts all aroundNew steering rackRoller bearing steering pivot thrust platesNew tie rod endsNew swing armsFront strut reinforcement platesNew 2 point seat belt installed on driver's side. We have the one for the passenger side, just haven't installed it.We replaced a lot of the “plumbing” for the cooling system with double thickness copper pipe and also used copper to replace the bent galvanized pipes near the engine. We do have the bent pipes that were removed. Rubber coolant lines connecting between the galvanized and copper do leak. The windshielf gasket is shot and it will leak if you are out in the rain. The fuel guage does not work due to a crack in the float. The dash has cracks, and the seat upholstery has tears with the driver's side having more. Two steel spare rims are included.Car only has rust in 3 areas at the windshield, none on the rocker panels, strut mounts, underside etc. You would be hard pressed to find an X 1/9 with this little rust and dent free.As you can see from the pictures, this car is in unmolested, original condition. Not having been repainted, it's easy to confirm it's virtually rust free. It does run and drive as the videos taken recently show. Car must be picked up within 2 weeks of auction close.  Buyer is responsible for transport and shipping fees.  Highly recommend trailering the vehicle to your location.
