We are Rutland Minis a Classic Mini specialist based in the East Midlands.This is a super rare 1965 Mark 1 Mini that we are selling on behalf of our Reverend client. He is a real petrol head and really loved this car, but a growing family and other commitments has forced his hand into buying something a bit more modern. Still a Classic Mini ! ..... Bless him.Under his ownership he has maintained this car to an excellent standard in both the bodywork and the mechanical s. He purchased it with the currently fitted 1275 cc engine mated with the remote gear selector. It drives really well and goes that a scolded cat. It gives a real fun drive. Reliable as the day is long, he drove it from South London to us in Grantham Lincolnshire to give it one last blast today. All jokes about holy water being used in the radiator were all met with a wry smile!The all important bodywork is excellent but not concourse, odd imperfection of the paint only are evident on the pictures of the nearside of the car. Panel fit is excellent, Standard width sills are fitted, floor pans are super clean too.Viewings are recommended, we are happy to take videos of the underside and any where else that takes your fancy, but this really needs to be driven to fully appreciate the car.
