Very Rare 1981 Ford Capri 3.0 Ghia Factory Manual for sale

Ford Capri 3. 0 Ghia Manual. The Ghia was the top of the range model for Capris, the 3. 0 engine was usually coupled to an automatic gearbox, with the 3. 0s being the manual versions, however manual gearboxes were a factory option in Ghias. This is a very rare example of a factory Manual 3. 0 Ghia. Built in December of 1980, registered in January of 1981 on a W Plate.I have a build date email from Ford confirming the build date, which was required this year to prove it to the DVLA. That means the car is now Tax and MOT Exempt.White paintwork with a black Vinyl Roof and tan interior. I'm told again quite rare to find a tan interior, especially in this condition. The car in itself is very clean. The pictures show it's condition. The car last had a full respray about 5 years ago, and polishes up very well. The vinyl roof is perfect. Including around the sunroof, and has an original sun visor fitted. The car has never been welded, and doesn't need any. No nasty filler under the arches or around the headlights like some capris, with all shut-lines and edges crisp and factory fresh. The current MOT has expired, however there were no advisories on the last one. Although exempt happy to put it through for new owner if they wish, or any other examination welcome. There aren't many Capri's about this clean.Engine starts and runs like a dream, Hot or cold. Plenty of low down torque. 4 speed manual box from factory. Good fun to drive. Temperature sits at the low end of normal, rises slightly if queueing in traffic and has never overheated. Some history, old receipts, photos of the rebuild 5 years ago. Full V5 in my name. Its won many shows, the most recent one just this summer. It really must be seen to be appreciated. Viewing recommended.I currently have 5 classic cars, and to be brutally honest am just looking to sell a couple on, with a view to purchasing a dream car.My agreed insurance value is £20k, and I've been told by many other Capri owners its a £20k car all day long...... weirdly none of them have bought it?I also appreciate its the wrong time of year to be selling, and might get more for it in April, but I'm impatient! Therefore I'm asking £16KIn NorthamptonshireHappy to answer any questions.
