1985 SR 5 Toyota pickup. Last year solid axle, first year EFI. Factory ac, power windows, sunroof, cruise control and air conditioning. All the bells and whistles. Bought new here in New Mexico (COMPLETELY RUST FREE), i bought it from an elderly neighbor to fix up and daily drive but unfortunately i have a line of trucks that need attention before i can get to this one. He was the second owner and he bought it from an coworker that was the original owner. The truck supposedly had a motor done 120 k ago. Runs very strong and will cruise the freeway no problem. Ac does blow cold, don't expect it to work like a brand new car. When i bought it i threw on some parts i had laying around. BRAND NEW tires on some ifs wheels. chrome 6 panel grill and a new front bumper. New lower valance. New shocks, new rear leaf springs. I have a brand new premium carpet kit for it. Still has the jack and tool bag but missing the tools except for the lug wrench. It's a solid rust free comfortable driver or a great candidate for a restoration, a black 85 sr 5 just went for 100 k this week at mecum auctions. If you know toyotas you know what you are looking at. I have the truck for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction early.
